2025 Year in Review: Heights Platform's Biggest Updates

2026 is here, and it is now time to look back over the past year, and share the biggest updates to Heights Platform that were released for course creators!

In 2025 alone, we released 10 major updates to the platform and had 358 smaller releases!

Since its foundation, Heights Platform has grown significantly and expanded from a simple course and community creation tool to the all-in-one, AI-powered platform it is today.

The biggest release this year? Live Streaming and Meeting Rooms.

Now Heights Platform replaces meeting software like Zoom and webinar software for live streaming events, plus gives you the flexibility you need to go live alongside your courses, community, and other digital products!

In fact, the focus of this past year was, without a doubt, on community building.

In 2025, our product direction became very clear: creators don’t just need better tools to publish content, they need better ways to connect people.

Courses are powerful, but community is what keeps students engaged, motivated, and coming back.

This is why we released some major updates to the platform, with the goal of helping our creators easily build a thriving community of engaged customers.

We've released updates like public community pages (a way to make your community posts discoverable on Google and in ChatGPT), a community algorithm, shareable posts and live streaming inside the community.

We focused on bringing conversations, events, learning, and relationships into one place, under your brand, without relying on external platforms that pull people away from your business. The result is a platform where learning doesn’t happen in isolation, and where community becomes a natural extension of every course, offer, and experience you create.

The focus on community led to our biggest release yet, and set the foundation for how Heights Platform continues to evolve.

So let's go into detail about the major updates that shaped Heights Platform in 2025:

Live Streaming and Meeting Rooms

Picture this: you’re hosting a live session - a webinar, a coaching call, or a client meeting - and instead of seeing Zoom’s logo or someone else’s branding, your customers see your name at the top of the screen. Your logo. Your colors.

They are instantly impressed. They feel that they’re in a professional, premium experience! And when the live stream ends, they don’t disappear.

They’re already inside your world, your online program, where they can explore your courses, interact in your community, or purchase your offers with one click.

No more sending people to outside links, separate webinar tools, or confusing logins. You control the full experience: from the moment they join your live session to the moment they take action.

Wait - this sounds too good to be true. How much is this going to cost me?

The live call features in Heights Platform are now included in our plans without additional costs!

The same platform you use to host your online courses, communities, your website and more... is now your go-to meeting software too.

Creators can now host live lessons, group calls, webinars, and events without relying on external tools.

Live sessions make it easy to connect in real time, interact with your audience, and build trust while teaching. Everything happens inside Heights under your own branding, with full control and no extra links, logins, or software.

Each live stream includes built-in live chat, so you can answer questions, engage attendees, and bring your community together in one seamless experience.

Live streaming and meeting rooms give Heights creators a powerful way to connect, teach, and grow in real time: all from one platform.

You can host live lessons, meet students face-to-face, share your screen, and answer questions on the spot. After each session, the recording becomes a video lesson, so future students still get the full experience.

In communities, live streaming makes interaction effortless. Host group discussions, masterminds, or Q&A sessions directly inside a channel. Members see live banners when a call starts, and automated reminders help drive attendance.

Live streaming also adds new revenue options. You can sell access to live events, include private or group calls in offers, or give premium members exclusive sessions. Coaches can run one-on-one calls, group coaching, or recurring meetings without extra tools.

With this update, we released the following features:

• Meeting Rooms and Live Streams in the Community Area: Start group calls or live events directly from your community channels!
• Instant Calls: an evergreen personal meeting link for a group call that you can share with whoever you want to invite.
• Live Lessons: teach course lessons live and communicate with students via a live chat!
• Meeting Rooms and Live Streams in Digital Products: Sell access to group calls or live events via digital products.

Integration With Senja

Heights now integrates with Senja!

Senja is a tool that enables you to easily collect customer reviews and display them on your website in a visually appealing manner. They make it easy for your customers to leave testimonials, which helps you grow your sales by showcasing other positive experiences.

When you connect Heights with Senja, you gain an additional block in the Web Page Builder, allowing you to drag and drop a curated section of reviews to your website.

This section displays reviews from your Senja account, automatically optimized for your web page.

Community Post Scheduling

Did you know? On Heights Platform, you can build a thriving community without limits! Create unlimited community channels and share as many posts as you'd like.

You can now also schedule community posts! Simply start writing a post in a community channel, and when you are ready, set the schedule date and time. The post will only be published on its scheduled date.

This update makes it easy for you to manage your community, be more consistent with posting fresh content and keep your members engaged, even when you're away.

Community Algorithm

Your Heights community now works like its own social network, highlighting the most relevant posts to the members most likely to engage.

It’s a simple way to keep your audience active without overwhelming them, and it helps your best content get the attention it deserves.

The algorithm automatically selects which students to notify and what to notify them about, based on their interests and activity, so you don’t have to manually tag or message everyone.

This means more engagement from the right people, without overwhelming members who aren’t active.

It helps you reach the students most likely to participate, so more of your content gets seen, and your community stays active.

The algorithm only affects which email notifications are sent to your students: it doesn't change how your community looks and which posts your students can see inside the community!

If you were to build your community on social media platforms, you wouldn’t have control over who sees your content, and most followers would miss your updates.

In Heights Platform, your posts are shown in a clear, chronological feed, so nothing is buried or hidden.

But if someone hasn’t checked in lately, they might still miss your updates. That’s why this algorithm is important: it brings students back by alerting those who are most likely to engage! ​

The new Community Algorithm works behind the scenes to boost engagement automatically:

• 📊 It sorts your members into engagement groups based on their activity and student engagement scores.
• 🥇 It calculates a reputation score for each member, depending on how others interact with their posts.
• ✉️ It sends Community Digest emails automatically, by scoring every post in your community and deciding which ones should be featured in the emails and who should receive them.

This means your most relevant content is sent to the right people, helping you re-engage members and increase participation without lifting a finger.

Digest emails are automated and separate from any post or channel notifications your members choose to follow. Students can opt out anytime directly from the email or their profile settings.

AI-Powered Smart Search for Faster Creation

Inside Heights, you can now search for anything: lessons, courses, products, and even commands in seconds.

On the top menu bar inside your Heights account, you will now find the new search bar.

Open the new search with Ctrl+K or Cmd+K, or click "Search" at the top, and easily navigate anywhere in your program. The smart search has three main functionalities:

1. Find what you are looking for: simply type in your keywords and easily navigate to lessons, courses, digital products and offers. You can also use the search to find specific Heights features.
2. Execute commands: the Smart Search is linked to Heights AI and fully integrated with your program. This means you can quickly perform actions simply by typing commands into the search bar.

For example, you can type in the Smart Search "create web page" or "view analytics" or "open coach", and so on.

The Smart Search is a way to make Heights Platform more connected and easier to use. We believe that as a creator, the tools you rely on should simplify your work, freeing you to focus on what you love, not on navigating complicated software.

Heights provides everything you need to build and grow a thriving creator business. But with such a rich set of features, it can take time to fully explore the platform’s potential.

That’s why we introduced tools like Heights AI and Smart Search: to streamline your workflow and help you find the right tools at the right time.

The goal is simple: to make your creative journey smoother, smarter, and more connected - so you can spend less time searching and more time creating.

Public Community

Public community was one of the biggest updates of 2025, and for sure one of the most loved by our creators.

Public community means that if your community channels are free to join, they will be discoverable on search engines like Google.

People who are not your customers yet, will be able to find certain posts from your community by searching for related keywords online. Just like a blog post - except you don't have to put any effort to be discoverable!

When someone finds your community post through a Google search, they will only see one post and a limited version of the community. If they want to see more, they can join your program, making this a great way for you to increase signups!

This update gives your community a boost, without any effort on your part.

Before, to attract new customers, you'd have to spend time writing blog posts or recording YouTube videos; now, you promote your business just by having a community!

Think of it like having your very own Reddit!

This update offers Heights Platform creators so many benefits:

• Increase Sign-Ups Without Effort: People will find your public posts through Google or ChatGPT. To see more, they’ll need to join your program.
• Your Community Promotes Itself: Every post, question, or conversation becomes content that can bring new visitors - no extra work needed.
• Get Discovered by New Potential Customers: Your public community posts will show up in Google searches, helping the right people find you at the right time, while your private community areas can stay private.
• Higher SEO Ranking and Discoverability: More indexed content means better search engine rankings, and more traffic to your community and program.
• Option to Earn Affiliate Commissions: Pro and Academy customers can remove the Heights branding on public community pages. Still, there's a reason to keep it: those links are now referral links, so if someone joins Heights from your page, you earn recurring affiliate commissions!

Lesson Video Analytics

We updated our video service provider for course lesson videos, to ensure faster and higher quality results.

You can now view detailed analytics about your video's performance, such as watch time, views and a retention heatmap that shows you which part of your video your students find most engaging!

Heights AI Chat - UI Update

In case you didn't know, Heights AI is your personal AI assistant inside your Heights account.

It can answer questions about Heights or growing a course business (based on our team expert knowledge) - edit products on your behalf, generate graphs, carry out commands and more.

Heights AI Chat is now more adaptable to your screen size. On wider screens, the chat will stay pinned to the right side of your screen without covering any of your interface.

Additionally, it will keep its state between pages so you can leave it open and work easier.

This means that you can easily switch tasks without having to re-open the AI Chat window and, therefore, continue your work with Heights AI Chat seamlessly.

Creator Climb

Creator Climb is an online community and learning space designed for creators. In 2025, we surpassed 10,000 members in the community, and it keeps growing!

Inside Creator Climb, you'll find a community of creators, coaches and entrepreneurs like you; online courses on growing your business, marketing & AI, digital downloads, live events and more!

Creator Climb is built on Heights Platform! It is a Heights account, just like one you can create by signing up for Heights.
